Gemini Energies 2010
The Sun is making its annual trek through the constellation of Gemini. The Full Moon in Gemini was last week, May 27. This Full Moon was a Sagittarius-Gemini Full Moon. The energy of this Full Moon brings about increased activity and motion. Sagittarius and Gemini are two of the most "Chatty" signs of the zodiac.. always in motion.. speaking, moving, doing, etc. At this time, it is hard to sit still… ideas are flowing… and we feel compelled to move and do.
On a spiritual level, the Sagittarius-Gemini Full Moon is known as the Festival of Humanity or the Festival of Goodwill. It is at this time that the spiritual hierarchy sends energy and ideas into the minds of Humanity. We can easily receive personal messages for ourselves and our lives from our guides and angels. The spiritual virtue of this energy is Goodwill. What does that mean? Goodwill is the conscious (choice) directing of good intentions, good thoughts, good words, and good actions towards everyone we meet. It is the conscious (choice) directing of love. This choice is made though the energy of our solar plexus (will), and is combined with the compassion/love of our heart chakra, and joined with the unconditional love/forgiveness/grace of the high heart.
How different would our world be if we, each and every one of us decided to CHOOSE to BE the energy of GOODWILL throughout our day? Can we imagine going to our closet as we get dressed for the morning, pulling out the CLOTHES that represent the energy of GOODWILL and wearing them …. BEING them the whole day? The wearing of GOODWILL can transform your whole being… your energy field to one of gladness and joy. As you mentally keep the energy of GOODWILL in the forefront of your thoughts… your whole day becomes lighter. The negative energies you are carrying in your aura are released… fears, anger, jealousy, frustration, worry…. Released.
It is said that as humanity chooses to be and direct the energy of GOODWILL, right human relations will evolve and develop around the world. So many of us ask what we can do as a life purpose on this planet. Being an ambassador for GOODWILL is an easy choice that can be added to your daily life.
Astrologically, we are under some difficult growth cycles for humanity. Pluto is making a T-Square to Uranus and Saturn. It will be a great day when humanity can evolve and grow without difficult cycles. But, they do get our attention. As Saturn travels the next two and half years through the sign of Libra. We are going to be challenged in our relationships with others. Where is the balance in giving and receiving? How can the best possible outcome be created for both parties? The answer may well lie within the spiritual quality of GOODWILL.
How do we incorporate the energy of GOODWILL when trying to solve a conflict or a problem? First, direct the energy of GOODWILL to the situation. Next open your mind and heart to solutions or resolutions that you may not yet have known. Next, examine the problem from every point of view (including the viewpoints of others). Determine what is the greatest good that can be achieved with the suggested outcomes. Keep the solution geared to what benefits everyone the most and include it in a larger frame of reference – the greater whole. Take a look at the situation from a higher viewpoint…. What would a Master Teacher or Guide suggest as a possible solution? Bring compromise into the solution. Saturn is going to teach this lesson over and over to all of us collectively as well as individually during these next three years. We are learning the lesson of RIGHT HUMAN RELATIONS… learning to be the type of people our spirits truly are……………
On a practical level, Gemini is the Messenger. Gemini rules practical things such as: communication, transportation, brothers/sisters, aunts/uncles, neighbors, learning, and craftsmanship with the hands, walking, and physical movement. It seems our world is getting more connected day-by-day… facebook, internet, cell phones, texting…. All Gemini energies. As we have the capability to INSTANTLY connect, bringing the energy of GOODWILL to all connections can have a enormous impact towards the evolution and development of RIGHT HUMAN RELATIONS.

Taurus Energies 2010
Spring is upon us! Everywhere around us we are enveloped by the renewal and rebirth of Mother Earth! The grasses are a vibrant shade of green. The trees are fragrant and opening their leaves. The birds are chirping before sunrise and welcoming the day! Nature’s colors of purple – pink – white – yellow blossoms are radiant this year. The Sun is transiting through Taurean energies - Beauty! We are in the 28-day cycle when Taurean energies reign. Taurus is an Earth sign… Earth Day celebrations take place during this time.
Taurus has the strongest connection to Mother Earth. Aries 2010
The Spring Equinox is upon us and we are welcoming the Fire energy of Aries…... Aries people are full of life! They are entrepreneurial! They are creative! They are fun! They are self-starters! And they pioneer new ways of being for humanity!
The spiritual keynote for the constellation of Aries is "Enthusiasm". Enthusiasm brings us the energy of "Passion in Action". It has been a long winter here in Iowa and we have had plenty of time to be reclusive and reflective of the events that have been unfolding in our lives over the past year. It was just a year ago, that we started to really see the economy shift and change here in the Midwest. Companies started to downsize positions, the State Government talked about reductions, and the schools have followed suit…. Debates over health care are hitting a fever pitch…
What was the bigger picture of all these happenings? Could it be… that it afforded us as individuals the opportunity to go inward, to find out what was truly important, to find our inner strength, to remember that we truly are spiritual beings having a physical experience... and to redeem our core spiritual values regardless of our manner of faith? Could it be that we are being asked to take these core values and LIVE THEM in the midst of the current world events? This can be challenging! The prolonged Mars retrograde in Leo gave us each 6 – 8 months of individual lessons in one particular area of our lives.
It is time to Move On and Move Forward!
The energy of Aries is also about COURAGE…… Courage to stand in our own inner strength… Courage to speak our truth with harmlessness to others… Courage to make difficult decisions… Courage to make necessary changes….. Aries asks us to move forward!
The Spiritual ruler of Aries is the planet Uranus. Uranus is all about letting go of old forms, old beliefs, old habits, which no longer serve us. The planet Uranus will be joining forces with Aries in the next few months and humanity will be asked to MOVE FORWARD….to take new untried, untested, bold actions….to be courageous, to be enthusiastic, to be creative as we Pioneer a new way of being on this planet... Pisces Energies 2010
"The Light of the World"
We have come to that time once again when the Sun has traveled through all twelve signs of the zodiac and is transiting the last sign of the zodiac - Pisces. The Sun is joining with two other major cycles that are happening in the constellation of Pisces. Jupiter – the planet of expansion and good fortune is traveling through this sign. Both the Sun and Jupiter are joining with the planet Uranus bestowing the benefits that Uranus has awakened within us during the past six years.
People with Pisces Sun, Moon or Ascendant have found their lives changing radically over these past six years and they are bringing their compassion and understanding to us all.
Pisces is the sign where we come to know FAITH… As we learn and grow through this lifetime, we move from the understanding that we are physical beings having a spiritual experience to the knowing that we are spiritual beings of light having a physical experience. As we embrace our FAITH and humanity, we are called to all levels of SERVICE. Service can come in many forms – from helping a neighbor, to teaching a child, to having a conversation with an elderly person. As we grow deeper and more certain with our FAITH, we know that "we are exactly where we are supposed to be" and a life devoted to SERVICE happens in every moment of every day.
We understand the learning cycles of the Past, which we are leaving behind. Mankind learned about itself through duality, polarity, suffering, separation, devotion, and sacrifice all represented by Pisces. In the New Age of which we are becoming, we will come to know ourselves through our FAITH and our SERVICE. We will come to know ourselves through our understanding of the Common Thread with every living thing on this planet.
It is the time of year, when we turn inward one last time before putting new energies forth into the world. As I’ve stated before, this is the year for sustainability, global initiatives to nurture the planet, sound healing, water blessings, and so much more! We have seen and are seeing even more Piscean influence in our television and movies - Movies such as Avatar (with an underlying theme of doing what is right for our planet), TV shows such as Celebrity Rehab (not hiding but bringing to our awareness the damage of drugs and alcohol), and Dancing with the Stars – all have a Piscean influence. Humanity has been called to service with events such as the Haiti earthquake and the Tsunami which was experienced many years ago. Humanity has been heeding the Call to Service through all avenues these past six years. The proof is the green recycle bin at our houses and the recycle bags that are at the grocery stores.
The year ahead will have its "opportunities" for us all. Life is cycles of constant change! Saturn transiting our chart shows us where and when these "opportunities" will present themselves. Saturn is our teacher. Good teachers, provide us with information and then, we are tested as to how well we have understood what we have learned.
Full Moon - February 28th - A Virgo Full Moon - The shadow side of the Virgo Full Moon is the light being shed on our unconscious thoughts and emotions of "imperfection". Feelings of worthiness… how do we measure up to the EXPECTATIONS we have set for ourselves and have set for others? These thoughts and emotions are the purging of unconscious beliefs and feelings. They need to be brought to the LIGHT (our awareness) in order to be acknowledged, understood, and released. The Pisces energy blesses these beliefs and feelings as they are released… as they no longer serve us.
New Moon - March 15 - The Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Mercury, and Uranus will all be conjunct in the Sign of Pisces…. It is a time to go inward… to acknowledge our divine selves…to renew our commitment to SERVICE … to acknowledge our FAITH… and to send blessings to the planet and all other kingdoms who share this planet with us.

Aquarius Energies 2010
It is the dawning of the "Age of Aquarius"… the time has finally arrived! Last year as Jupiter and Uranus joined forces in the sign of Aquarius… we truly started the birthing of this New Age.
We can feel the essence that Change is in the air… old ways of being… ways of thinking… ways of feeling… are being transformed and new aspects of ourselves and the new world around us are being revealed.
It is the time for us to know that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience!

Jupiter has changed signs (energy) from mental Aquarius to compassionate Piscean energy. This is a great time for expansion of green and ecological initiatives! We will see a huge outpouring of new art and music to help heal humanity. Musicians will be bringing causes to the spotlight with a focus on healing people through music. An emphasis on sound healing (as energy medicine teaches us that sound is the quickest healer to our energy body. People with a Pisces Sun, a Pisces Moon, or a Pisces Ascendant will be the leaders of 2010. This is their year to shine in whatever life path they have chosen.
Saturn is in the sign of Libra. This is making people with a Libra Sun, a Libra Moon or a Libra Ascendant feel off-balance and uncomfortable. Libra energy represents fairness and balance. The big picture of this planetary cycle is for humanity to find new ways of compromise. We are learning the lesson of moving from decisions that are best for an individual to decisions that are best for the group. We see this play itself out in the workplace. Workers are asked to take a pay decrease or a benefit decrease in order to keep other people from losing their jobs. These compromises and negotiations are likely to continue for the next two years. Capricorn Energies 2009/2010
Blessings to all during this Spiritual Season of Love and Light!
We are moving from the boisterous fire energy of Sagittarius and transitioning into the Earth energy of Capricorn. Have you ever wondered why there is so much excitement leading to the Seasonal holidays? The sounds of carols, the twinkling of lights, the holiday parties? Then, as we approach the very "holy" days themselves, we find a stillness, a holiness, a spiritual connection to this time of year? Winter Solstice, Christmas Eve, and Christmas evening?
There are many levels to this 30-day cycle. It is our own level of consciousness (level of understanding about the world) that determines how we will individually respond and work with these energies.
On the most practical level, Capricorn represents – duty, responsibility, and organization. How many of us decide to create an organization plan for the New Year? How many of us sit down and set our goals – budgets, better relationships, job planning, and creating healthier bodies?
On the next level, Capricorn represents manifestation. There is a special link between spirit and matter. Capricorn uses the laws of manifestation and creates the circumstances and physical realities it needs here on Earth. What are our New Year’s resolutions? What do we want to add to our lives in 2010? We must ASK to RECEIVE.
On another level, Capricorn represents the birthing of the spiritual self. Capricorn has mastered the physical world and reaches beyond to the spiritual realms – leaving the personality behind and allowing the soul’s energy to lead the charge. Esoteric studies call this the birth of the Christ within each and every one of us. This is the time of year when those who are ready, turn over a new leaf, are born-again, or very simply get a knowing that being of service to humanity and this planet is their life’s work. They decide where and how they will SERVE in the coming year.
This 30-day cycle also bring us two retrogrades. - Both Mars and Mercury will be retrograde. What does this mean? It is a reflective and integrative time. If you look at your own astrology chart and determine what house lies between 0 degrees and 19 degrees of Leo, you will know where you are individually being affected by this cycle. Energies that you have put into forward motion will be stalled and re-viewed, re-vised, re-worked, re-visited. The energies will move again into a forward motion after March 9-10. This area in your chart is demanding much of your attention at this particular period in time. That is normal!
Mercury will be retrograde from Dec 26 – through January 13th. In practical terms, this means that we will be getting a slow start as we resume our normal daily activities – work, school, etc.
Travel delays, computer glitches, communication misunderstandings are a reality during Mercury retrogrades…. It is an excellent time to reflect, meditate, review the past year or past several years. Start your New Year’s resolutions on January 14th!
During these next two years, we will all be learning new ways to create WIN-WIN situations. Saturn will be challenging us in all personal relationships and teaching us lessons on GIVING-RECEIVING, balancing the needs of others and the needs ourselves. We will learn how to create outcomes that are for the best good of all concerned.
Jupiter will be transiting the sign of Pisces in 2010…. Many of the Pisces people (Sun, Moon, and Ascendant) will rise to leadership roles in their chosen profession or regular daily lives. They will be the people who bring comfort and understanding during these times of global transition and the birthing of new energies upon the planet. Sagittarius Energies 2009
The monthly cycle we have now moved into is Sagittarius. Sagittarius is an active energy and thus, we feel the hustle and bustle through the holidays of Thanksgiving leading up to Christmas.
Many of us, in years past, would send Christmas cards with words such as:
"Joy to the World" "Happy Holidays"
That is the theme of Sagittarius energy…… this time of year we get REMINDERS and send REMINDERS of spiritual qualities such as HOPE, JOY, and LIGHT!!!!! One of the esoteric teachings of Sagittarian energy is HARMLESSNESS…… There is magic and power through the creation brought about by WORDS and SOUNDS....
During this time of year, we see these WORDS brought to our conscious minds…positive affirmations such as JOY… HOPE…. GOOD CHEER…. THANKSGIVING (GRATITUDE)….
It is through the proper use of sound (tone) and the language of words, (both written and spoken), that we add a positive or negative effect to our environments - our loved ones, our friendships, our co-workers, our neighbors, etc.
Be challenged during this 2009 monthly Sagittarian cycle, to be aware of the impact you create through the tone and words you express. Listen to the Holiday music (sound and words)… how does it make you feel? Listen to the choirs (sound and words) in your favorite place of worship… how does it make you feel? Scorpio Energies 2009
We have now moved into the energy of Scorpio for the next month..... During the time that the Sun is passing through the sign of Scorpio, the energy supports us for TRANSFORMING parts of ourselves... our physical bodies, our unwanted emotions, our negative thinking, etc... that no longer serve us as we move forward in this lifetime...........
